Question for fellow Affiliate Managers?

Question by Sardine: Question for fellow Affiliate Managers?
How do you deal with clueless affiliates? I find that I spend a lot of my time answering somewhat illiterate emails from affiliates with zero knowledge of the industry. Additionally, they will call and call with absurd questions. No matter how many times I explain something, they just don’t get it. I feel like I’m wasting my time with people who can barely turn on a computer, much less understand building a site, PPC, SEO, etc.

Of course, most affiliates never produce a dime of business. I give them free ebooks on affiliate marketing like you will find here http://www.marketmy.com/affiliate-marketing-tools/free-brandable-affiliate-marketing-e-books.htm

Why does this search engine delete a question from this site that only asked?

Question by madmilker: Why does this search engine delete a question from this site that only asked?
Is Wal-Mart with the “star” in the name a “short” play on Wall Street?
It didn’t ask why they took the “hyphen” from the name and replaced it with a big “single” star! If this is an American Company (search engine) maybe there is more to what’s wrong with America than a few short plays and kicking a CEO in the a!! for not letting free speech run its course.
People think better when they have something to think about not when they think about something to delete off of a search engine board that don’t have a thing to do with showing no respect to an American Company that sells cheap crap.

SEO – Search Engine Optimization Question – Domain Names?

Question by b1911: SEO – Search Engine Optimization Question – Domain Names?
This is a follow-up question to my previous question which I have listed below:

e.g. let’s pretend I have a site called www.bestdoors.com and I would also like to access through the following urls french-door.net and internaldoor.com

Here is my question:
What about having different domain names as domain alias? What is better for SEO, redirect of domain alias?

In case we redirect the domains to a specific page in the site and change the page title and metatags to suit the url (in this case internal doors or french door), will this be better SEO wise than domain alias?

Hope that makes sense. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Question regarding my website?

Question by razsports: Question regarding my website?
Hi,

http://www.raz-sports.com/. My article section ranks well with all the search engines. Same goes for some of my directory pages. That being said, before I start a huge site promotion, I’d like to receive more feedback.

Before I start, I am have re-designed the site. However, during the time I been working on other prospects, including some scripting.

Now onto the website 🙂

What I would like to add is add the following features:

1. Score Board—> would include scores to MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL and so on.

2. Polls ——-> Asking different questions regarding sports such as your favorite baseball card.

3. Athlete of the week—> would like to have an athlete of the week for each sport.

4. Tools section—-> Will consist of future sports tools for webmasters.

My question is how should I break this site down?

Should I keep the navigation as is but add to it?
Example: Sports Articles/ Sports Directory/ Sports Forums/ Scores/Polls/Tools.

Or should I break the site into sports?
Example: create a baseball page that would list
sports news and facts. On this page would be links named as the following?

1. Baseball Directory–> links to baseball related websites.

2. Baseball Articles

3. Baseball Scores

4. Baseball Tools

and etc? Or would that be like spam?

Currently I don’t believe my site spams. Do you agree? Any suggestions?

All your input is greatly appreciated.

Internet SEO Marketing Question?

Question by ric: Internet SEO Marketing Question?
What could be expected as a “normal paid conversion percentage” using clickbank to sell a training program to make money online in the cellular phone industry, purchaser buys training program online for S 49.50 that teaches them how to market a free website that they are given with the training Program.

Out of every 100 visitors from Quality online traffic, how many would convert with a solid offer that is backed wirh a 60 day money-back guarantee – that states if they do not earn at least $ 1000.00 in the first 60 days – by simply applying what they are taught in the training program they will receive a refund for training program.

How much of a difference would it make regarding “paid conversion percentage” if the offer was $ 19.95 verses $ 49.50?

Best answer:

Answer by Krish
There isn’t any set percentage as such. It completely and completely depends on your content, copywriting, landing page, graphics, page rank and a list of other things. But lets say you get almost everything right to some degree, i am talking about from my experience, i get about minimum 1-4 % conversion percentage, out of 100 visitors.

Now let me clarify, getting 100 visitors is no parameter for your internet SEO marketing question. Im talking about 100 “ready to buy” visitors, who have done their research and are completely motivated to find the solution rightaway. As a rule i dont draw people looking just for information. I talk straight to the point and i write articles in and around the buying part of it.

Well, Internet SEO Marketing techniques also depend on the selection of your product you want to promote, the niche, existing competition and the quality of their respective landing pages. So in a way, there is no yardstick, its all upto your SEO and content writing skills.

Basic SEO is easy to learn. and it’s actually all there is to it. To find affiliate programs, Google “associate program directories” or “affiliate program directories”. You can also try ClickBank or PayDotCom..
