How Much Can I earn in SEO, PPC, SMO? What is the last stage of earning in SEO, PPC, SMO?

Question by Manoj Kumar: How Much Can I earn in SEO, PPC, SMO? What is the last stage of earning in SEO, PPC, SMO?

The thing is there are so many factors that come into play that it’s difficult for anyone to say with certainty how much YOU should be earning as an SEO. Take for instance:

Location – Cost of living varies depending on where you live. Salaries differ from country to country, state to state and even city to city. Location plays a large role in how much you earn.
Experience Level – This is pretty obvious, but the more years you have under your belt, the higher your earning potential.
Agency vs In-House – Typically, SEOs who work in-house for a privately-run company tend to make more than those working at agencies.
Impact – If you dazzle your potential employers at an interview, you may be able to ask for more money. I mean every employer has a budget in mind for a potential hire, but they’re willing to spend more and push the higher of the salary range for someone they feel is a perfect fit.
Reputation – Let’s face it, if you’re a well-known SEO/thought leader in the industry, you can often name your price and ride your notoriety to the bank.

You should contact http://backlinking4seosite.com when you’re truly ready in bringing steady, targeted and high quality traffic to your web site today, all at a very reasonable cost.
Thanks.

How much do Paid search results cost?

Question by Preston: How much do Paid search results cost?
Looking into cost-per-click or flat rate sponsored listings, but want an idea of cost? Are they effective over organic search results?

Best answer:

Answer by Hanna
The answer is Yes! Organic listings take weeks and months to acheive good results, where as ppc is immediate traffic. If you connect the ad, the keyword and the landing page together with targeted traffic the profits can be enormous. If you find a winning campaign in cpc you can scale it to cpm and find tons of targeted traffic for cheap amounts of money.

Depends on what your website is about and who is getting to it. In my experience if you are advertising a website to a lot of people who are internet marketers and your page isn’t about IM then you won’t be making any money no matter how many people get to your website. You will make more money when your website gets targeted traffic and it’s not visited by the same people over and over again. So free traffic exchanges are out and SEO is in, forum marketing is in, and article marketing is in and so is commenting on other peoples blogs.

How much to charge to write a company history?

Question by pwthrby: How much to charge to write a company history?
This is for all you freelance commercial writers out there. How would you determine how much time (and thus $ $ $ ) it would take to conduct interviews, review news articles and photos, compile notes, write and produce a company history? The company in question is 47 years old, 700 employees and did $ 550 million in revenues last year. They are intending to produce 1500 finished copies of the history. How can I figure out what would be a fair and reasonable bid to make on the project?

Best answer:

Answer by simplydelegate
This type of assignment would also be handled by virtual assistants. VAs charge between $ 25 and $ 75 an hour, depending on the level of difficulty of the project (i.e. web design or marketing would be more whereas word processing would be less)and the experience of the VA. I would estimate how many interviews you are likely to give, the basic interview outline, research time, and copywrighting time involved. Do you have any guidelines regarding detail or length of report?

If a company hires a person to manage and update their webpage, find clients, how much should they get paid?

Question by lsanc83: If a company hires a person to manage and update their webpage, find clients, how much should they get paid?
The company is a bar/restaurant. A small company. The responsibilities would involve sending emails, managing their webpage, updating the webpage, updating if there are special events, posting pictures, looking for clients. How much should the person charge? The person has no certificate but has a lot of experience due to hobby.

Best answer:

Answer by Stefanie
It would depend on the skill and ability level. I have a college degree and I do web copywriting, e-mail marketing, search engine optimization, and promotions, and I typically charge $ 150/hour or more. Given that you don’t really describe everything in a professional way, I’m guessing you may not have a ton of experience, and you should probably charge somewhere in the $ 20-30/hour range if this is your first real client. Do your best there, and keep learning. There are thousands of pages online that can teach you more about what you’re doing so you can get to the point where you can charge more each hour.

How much are you earning per month if you are Freelancer? (web work)?

Question by Jasna: How much are you earning per month if you are Freelancer? (web work)?
This i am asking only people who are full time (web designing/programming is ur only source of income) freelancers in areas i mentioned. So no any writing jobs, editing jobs, not even SEO/PPC.

Please state ur professional experience as well (in years)
I am ofcourse well aware that it all depends on how good you are and how many clients/work you can find. I am doing all marketing/client-finding for our company and i found 6 long-term clients (companies that r outsoucing work to Zach-my partner) and big number of one time clients (most of them use Zach again so even they r not always one time).

I think that in 4-5 i would need to stop doing more marketing (if Zach stay being only web designer/developer) because he is starting to have more work then he can handle, for the past 7-8 months.

We make between $ 4.000-$ 4.300,around £2.500-2.600 per month.

Depends. Some freelancers get a lot of work, others don’t. Just depends how much work you can find. Some people can support themselves on freelance work alone. Others do it just to get some extra money on the side.

A web design company wouldn’t buy it, because web design companies are only paid to design websites for paying customers with specific requirements.

But your site idea sounds pretty much exactly like marketwatch.com

How much Competition is Too much For SEO?

Question by centexwebent: How much Competition is Too much For SEO?
I’ve spent on PPC and the results are ok but not great but it was a quick easy answer for a site launch. Now I’m looking at organic SEO hard and optimizing my site. I know that my area lingerie/clothing is saturated so I’m going for the long tails. But even at that what are some opinions about what to go after? Obviously a competition number of a couple hundred has some reasonable expectation of return if the pages and site are optimized but what about some of the larger numbers say 100,000 or several 100,000 in competition is it a waste of time trying for those numbers with out a Page rank 2 or 3 or even more?

Hey I know everyone has a SEO opinion and they are all different but would like to hear the different thought streams

Best answer:

Answer by James
Hi Centexwebent,

As you say, it’s mostly down to opinion.

What I do is make a search for my long tail keywords in quote marks. If the results return less than 50,000 pages then I would consider it but only if the keyword still has a few hundred seraches a day.

Less than 100 searches and I would see anything less than 5,000 page results as reasonable competition.

I say this because alot of the results given back will not have been fully optimised by the website owners. If you know what you are doing, you can beat them quite easily.

It’s not just about SEO of your website, it’s about backlinks too. There’s really useful info in the webpage listed in the source box.

Best of luck.
