How much to charge to write a company history?

Question by pwthrby: How much to charge to write a company history?
This is for all you freelance commercial writers out there. How would you determine how much time (and thus $ $ $ ) it would take to conduct interviews, review news articles and photos, compile notes, write and produce a company history? The company in question is 47 years old, 700 employees and did $ 550 million in revenues last year. They are intending to produce 1500 finished copies of the history. How can I figure out what would be a fair and reasonable bid to make on the project?

This type of assignment would also be handled by virtual assistants. VAs charge between $ 25 and $ 75 an hour, depending on the level of difficulty of the project (i.e. web design or marketing would be more whereas word processing would be less)and the experience of the VA. I would estimate how many interviews you are likely to give, the basic interview outline, research time, and copywrighting time involved. Do you have any guidelines regarding detail or length of report?

The History of Unreal Tournament (Part One)

Epic Games Inc. was founded in Rockville, Maryland in 1991. Then known as Epic MegaGames, Inc., the company was the brainchild of Programmer Tim Sweeney, who was soon joined by James Schmalz (programmer), Mark Rein (marketing / ‘biz’) and Cliff Bleszinski (designer). Early research for what would become Unreal began in mid-1994 and continued on until the complete development team was formed. By this time, James had left Epic to create Digital Extremes, based north of the border in Canada. However collaboration between Epic and DE continued and was instrumental in forming the Unreal brand. Digital Extremes (Headquartered in London, Ontario, Canada) was founded in 1993. Early work resulted in the shareware phenomenon Epic Pinball, which was released 10 months after development began, was delivered exactly on time and soon became a huge success. Epic Pinball was one of the most successful shareware games ever made, trailing only behind such industry greats as Duke3D, Doom and Wolfenstein 3D. A sequel soon followed – Extreme Pinball — and together they helped fund what would soon be one of the industry’s blockbuster franchises, Unreal® and Unreal Tournament. 1996 Unreal is signed to GT Interactive as publisher, and full development begins. 1997 Jay Wilbur joins the team as “Imperial Advisor”, working with Mark on the ‘Biz’ side of things and bringing his experience as a founder member of id software (Doom, Quake). 1997 Steven Polge joins the programming team with a specialty

Does google keep your search history and web browsing history? (For marketing purposes)?

Question by : Does google keep your search history and web browsing history? (For marketing purposes)?
I know they say they don’t, but companies like google love to dominate, and with information on what kind of websites people visit, when they visit them, and more, I don’t think they could resist. Their must be some kind of thought out loop hole in their terms right?

When you are on a website and an ad pops up that has something relevant to the page material, its because it did a wordsearch before posting the ad.

but yes, google installs a tracking cookie that tracks your every online move and stores it.

★ Don’t Be Ancient SEO History. + WowWe FREE Video Email

JohnScevolaSEO.com ★ http Doyou want more internet traffic? Are you moving up in search engine rankings too slowly? If you’re looking to monetize a web site of any kind then you probably already know about the web page promotion benefits of Search Engine Optimization or SEO. The problem is that Google continually updates their SEO algorithms (ie Universal, Caffeine, and Instant Search). The difference between these new Search algorithms and Google’s older ones is enormous! Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 2.0 or Google Universal Search SEO, includes virtually everything related to a search or query, including: Videos, Images, Advertising, Product Placement, News, Detailed Site links, Maps, and more. There is no real limit to the results a search engine such as Google can produce but the fact is that modern search engines no longer work on the old metrics. These days shoehorning keywords into meta tags and page titles in order to achieve ridiculously high keyword density (spamming) will actually hurt the search profile of a web site substantially. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 2.0 or Google Universal Search SEO, has changed the way online prowess must be achieved. Now, companies and website developers must utilize a diverse multimedia approach, focusing not only on content with keyword rich copy, but also optimizing all of their digital media, thus showing they are the best “fit” for Google’s blended results pages. If you want to survive, even dominate, online you need
