Adsense can work very well if you have moderately heavy traffic. If you’re selling something, it’s even better. There is nothing bad I can say about it… it doesn’t cost you anything, so you either make money or you don’t, without anything negative on your part. Try it, you can always close the account.

Good luck.

Why is it that even though THIS company’s search engine/robot came before Google’s, a lot of people are______|?

Question by : Why is it that even though THIS company’s search engine/robot came before Google’s, a lot of people are______|?
now calling doing a web search “Googling it”? Well, I don’t really like calling just any brand of something by one brand name (like Kleenex for any brand of tissue paper, or Band-Aid for any brand of plastic bandage, etc.), but if they’re GOING to do it with web searches, then why not “Go Yahoo! it” (the “it” being the subject to be web-searched) or “Yahooing it”?

Or even yet, why not use the brand name of web search engines/robots that came out even BEFORE Yahoo did?

Please come back and see my responses to your answers so that I can give you any follow-up questioning to your answers if they happen to leave any room to need more questioning, okay?

Hey, Shaddy,

Okay, did it ever cross your mind that asking it that way might sound kind-of rude? Yeah, thanks for the information. Also, thanks for putting a rude kind of spin on your answer by asking that question. “I REALLY like that.”

Hey, Chris K.,

So Google is newer than Yahoo!, but became more popular because they’ve somehow designed themselves a better system?

Thanks for your good answer!
Oh, and by the way, Chris, I have a friend named Chris K. near my neighborhood (Chris Kirsch), but unfortunately he, uh… well, is sadly no longer with us.

Thanks for adding a follow-up to your answer!

Alex Jones Exposes Google’s Plan to Dominate the Internet

Paul Joseph Watson Thursday, August 19, 2010 The net-neutrality ending deal with Verizon is just the beginning of Google’s plans to kill the open and free Internet as part of their takeover agenda to completely control the world wide web and force independent media websites, radio and TV shows out of existence for good. Google’s agreement with Verizon to speed certain Internet content to users opens the door to the complete sterilization of the world wide web as a force for political change. Under Google’s takeover plan, the Internet will closely resemble cable TV, independent voices will be silenced and the entire Internet will be bought up by transnational media giants. People who want to run a simple blog will be priced out of existence, online TV and radio shows will cease to exist as the Internet is swallowed up by the corporate borg. True net neutrality means that independent news outlets who attract an audience by telling the truth can compete on an even keel with corporate giants like ABC, CBS and CNN. The Google-Verizon pact will end that level playing field and in turn eliminate everything that is outside of the mainstream. “A non-neutral Internet means that companies like AT&T, Comcast, Verizon and Google can turn the Net into cable TV and pick winners and losers online,” writes Josh Silver. “A problem just for Internet geeks? You wish. All video, radio, phone and other services will soon be delivered through an Internet connection. Ending
