Question by : I bought a website can I make a whole bunch of blogs on different pages to increase SEO optimization?
Is it possible to just link a whole bunch of wordpress blogs together and create a ring of webpages all under one domain name?

Is it possible? Yes. Should you do it? Probably not. I know of folks who do this without a problem. I know others that do it and get banned in google.

It depends on what the topic(s) is/are going to be.

I’ve been developing for the web for 16 years.

There are only really two important things to search engine optimization: content and inbound links. There are more having to do with how your site is constructed, but these are the two big ones.

First understand a search engine’s job. They don’t care about your site, what you sell, how important it is. Search engines have one job, and one job only: to return the most relevant pages for a given set of keywords. Search engines are built for the “searcher,” not the site owner.

Given that fact, what do you do? You make web pages that are most relevant to your topic. Not by “keyword stuffing,” which will get your web pages banned from the index, but by writing and adding good content.

The second thing to understand is that web SITES don’t index in S.E.’s, web PAGES do. So it’s far better to have 20 or even hundreds of web pages that come up in the first five pages of results than a single page that comes up on page one for a given set of keywords.

The answer lies in building lots and lots of pages on your topic that contain the keywords for your searches. If you sell widgets, you should have lots of pages that talk about widgets.

Inbound links are also important, but not as important as they used to be for one simple reason: search engines are wise to what are called “link networks” – a series of artificial sites linking to a given site for the purpose of increasing page rank. When asking for inbound links, choose your targets carefully, make personal contact and don’t automate the process, and make sure the sites linking to you have a decent page rank or it’s not worth it.

The SEO industry has made this a more complicated topic than it needs to be, giving the unaware the impression you can throw money at it and get rich. They may increase your inbound traffic a hundredfold, but you may discover with all the traffic you’re not getting sales. Why? Because a million “junk hits” aren’t worth a single “quality hit” from someone who really wants to find your service.

The answer lies in solid, valuable content. SEO will come naturally out of quality content, built for your users.

Add at least 1 page a week to your web site on your topic. Don’t pay someone to add a hundred pages in a week, S.E.’s will recognize this as unnatural growth and it may force you into the supplemental index.

Last, don’t fall for “keyword stuffing” or other “stupid web tricks” such as placing keywords in white text on a white background, or hidden text. This will get you banned faster than you can say “where did my web site go?”

Good SEO comes out of natural content, hard work and persistence. The SEO “industry” has made this more complex than it needs to be in the interest of digging into your pockets.

For my knowledge it doesn’t matter. Because everything matters is content. If your content is good and if Search engines can easily access them(Not like JavaScript), then your website will be get good ranking.

Organic search listings are the natural listings that occur from whan a search engine spiders your website. They are provided to users when a keyword is entered into a search engine. The listings are not paid, or they are the websites the search engine has determined to be the most accurate matches for the keywords entered. The goal of the search engines are to deliver the “most accurate” results for the search terms.

Organic SEO is optimization so that your website will occur in “natural” search engine listings. When a surfer types a keyword optimized and popular websites appear in the top listings. Organic listings are free. PPC listings are paid. 🙂
