Which class should I take? VB.NET or SEO?

Question by heyo: Which class should I take? VB.NET or SEO?
Hi, I’m taking classes at a community college and I am trying to decide between taking an introductory class in VB.NET programming or taking a class about Search Engine Optimization. I’ve been taking a few classes in web and software development, but I already have a BA in English, so whatever classes can prepare me to get a job the quickest are better! I’ve been thinking about dropping my SEO class and enrolling in VB.NET because the book we are studying is “The Art of SEO” and, skimming through it, I was wondering if I might just read the book myself on the side and get a similar education about it (I will be developing my own website, so that will be hands-on practice too). The VB.NET class looks similarly interesting and because it’s about learning how to write and test code in Visual Studio, I was thinking it might be harder for me to pick up that skill on the side?
I appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I would advise you to get VB.net. Nowadays, you can learn anything and everything about SEO as there are a lot of websites that will educate you on how to-do-it-yourself SEO. Unlike VB.net, it’s a programming and unless you did not take proper training about it, you won’t be able to learn it. If you want to learn SEO start reading SEO ebooks which offers a not-so-complicated to follow steps for newbies and not so techy people. There are some couple of website that can give you more information more than I do… I posted one links below.
