Project Re: Brief: A Film About Re-imagining Advertising

Project Re: Brief is an inspiring story about the need for creative thinking in the face of enormous technological shifts in the way we communicate. In a beautiful collision of minds and media, Project Re: Brief is a grand experiment whereby Google partnered with five of the brightest “old-school” legends from advertising to re-imagine their most iconic creative work from a half-century ago for the modern web, for 4 global brands – Coca-Cola, Volvo, Alka-Seltzer, Avis. Directed by Doug Pray, and the same team who joined him to make the Emmy-Award-winning film and PBS hit “Art & Copy,” Project Re: Brief is a film that aims to shake up the ad industry and inspire new ways of thinking. While shifting formats and media platforms is one thing, as we learn from our heroes of the past, the basic tenets of human storytelling haven’t changed.

Answer by AlexNDawson
Reputable SEO companies can do it for you. However, choose a company carefully as you would entrust your companies reputation to this people. If this people are fraud or spammers, it’s gonna hurt your business.

Today, SEO is not the same as in 2008. There are lots of changes and it will continue to change for the better. Although, some results these days were skewed, but it will get fixed.

Additionally, SEO is not all about link building, it’s about building quality, useful and valuable websites as well.

I am a web designer, and my boss wants me to learn about business/sales/marketing jargon. Good books to start?

Question by : I am a web designer, and my boss wants me to learn about business/sales/marketing jargon. Good books to start?
I will be communicating a lot with customers and I will need to sound professional and knowledgeable on the sales-end of the designs we’re creating. I know a bit about social media marketing and SEO but I need some solid business know-how to compliment that.

Any titles you recommend?

Day,

What’s the difference between Pay-per-Click (PPC) and Pay-per-Lead (PPL)?

PPC: advertisers pay—publishers get paid—for each CLICK
PPL: advertisers pay—publishers get paid—for each REGISTRATION

Here are the details.

==== Pay-per-Click (PPC) ====

As an advertiser, you pay each time a visitor clicks on an ad (displayed on publishers’ website) to go to your website—preferably to a landing page customized to maximize the conversion rate. And the publisher gets paid accordingly.

==== Pay-per-Lead (PPL) ====

As an advertiser, you pay each time a visitor registers—i.e., converts into a **lead**—after he clicked on an ad (displayed on publishers’ website) to go to your website—preferably to a landing page customized to maximize the conversion rate. And the publisher get paid accordingly.

==== PPC vs. PPL in a nutshell ====

This is the lead cycle simplified:

1. web page ad (click) > 2. landing page (registration) > 3. thank you page > …

PPC: advertisers pay—publishers get paid—for each CLICK
PPL: advertisers pay—publishers get paid—for each REGISTRATION
