Off To A Not So Yummy Start Today

Yesterday I bought a couple boxes of Boca Southwestern Breakfast Wraps. I love breakfast burritos, so I looked forward to this. Yuck! Ptooey! Blech! Even the smell was awful, but the taste…ew! One bite and it hit the garbage can.

Then, for lunch, I was going to have some shrimp cocktail. I’d bought the already prepared (frozen), placed in a round container, in a decorative manner, boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce in the middle. Let it thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Opened it up for lunch today. Not quite as icky as the breakfast wrap was, but not appetizing either. There wasn’t anything “wrong” with the shrimp, except they just tasted funny. Not as in spoiled…just funny. So two bites of that, and history.

So much for trying new things. Back to mini whole wheat bagels and south beach pizzas for me.

    Hmm… I like Boca’s burgers, but it sounds like they shouldn’t have branched out to other products. You might still give the burger a try, though. I used to have a coworker who would make them for me and her for lunch - so yummy!
