Can You Hear Me Panting?
Ok, I bought a pedometer today. Those things are really cool. I just finished fast-walking 1,057 steps, going .4 miles, and burning 28 calories. Not far for fit people, but for me, that’s enough to make me pant for the next 1/2 hour or so. Whew!
Had a Healthy Choice Panini for lunch that was pretty tasty, so that one gets a thumbs up from me.
Still no decision on dinner menu. Might be too tired from the walk to think about that.
Later, y’all.

I don’t understand why you want to count how many steps you took or how many calories you burn… If you wanna burn fat, then go all the way…
I just noticed this blog (seo fights fat), you know why not post your diet plan for this event? it’ll help you and motivate you to stick to your diet plans… Jennifer and David are putting their meal plans.
Buy a set of dumbbells and do some basic dumbell exercises like squat, lunge and others (check bodybuilding.com for other exercises). Oh if you are worried about bulking up… you won’t. check out Jamie Eason pictures who work out with dumbbells and barbells.

While I certainly appreciate Jennifer and David’s methods, and applaud them, I don’t necessarily think my method is a bad one. Everyone achieves their goals in different ways. It’s important to ME to know how far I walked. I sit around on my butt all day long in the job I do, and I need to move more. Unfortunately, I’m not so young as I used to be, and things hurt. Many days, just walking a few steps is very painful. So, for me to walk 800 steps - fast - is an accomplishment for me, and worth noting here. Twenty years ago, I could (and did) do lots of exercises that I just can’t do right now. But the goal is to get thinner, get healthier, and get closer to what I once was. As Elvis would say, I’ll do it my way.
