In this part of the instructional video tutorial, we will discuss how to increase the number of views of your video. A random surfer might see your video in a search result that contains videos or web pages by many others. If you have an eye catching thumbnail, you have a likely click. But a visitor will look at your title and description before clicking the play button. So, title and description are as important as your video content; perhaps, even more. It is important to have your strategy how to get listed in top position in search results. For this, you need to know how search engines locate resources and rank search results. Simply put, search engine crawlers locate search terms or key words from internet resources and creates a list of search results ranked on relevance and weight of content. Going back to your video upload, a well written title will increase the number views. Using keywords in your title is a proven way to increase hits. If your video is about barbeque, let your title include the word barbeque. Using adjectives in the title (for example ‘spicy barbeque’). is a good way to get the viewer’s attention. If your video does not get enough views, you can edit your title. There are lots of internet surfers looking for instructional information. You can provide

Who would like to volunteer?

Question by Ipshwitz: Who would like to volunteer?
Well, I’m guessing it’s only a matter of time before this post gets removed (as this is also a shameless promotion) so let me get to the point.

I’m looking for volunteers to help out with an online Christian music ezine. The site is called The Kross (www.thekross.org). It’s a place that brings all the aspects of Christian music into one spot, whether it’s newer alternative or old gospel style hymns. Volunteers would help write reviews, conduct interviews, moderate forums, etc..

The site is fasioned off of another site I helped create called Crank It Up. Which during it’s prime was pulling in 10,000 unique hits a month and was ranked in the top 5 on the major search engines. The staff spanned 4 countries with about 25 volunteers.

This is available to anyone who loves Christ and loves music. If you are interested, please get ahold of me: chris@thekross.org
Volunteers are needed for multiple parts in the site: write music reviews, conduct interviews, moderate forums (once it’s to that point) etc.
Daveyy – apparently so is ignorance.

It’s not really clear what you are asking people to volunteer to do. To write music reviews?

Question regarding my website?

Question by razsports: Question regarding my website?
Hi,

http://www.raz-sports.com/. My article section ranks well with all the search engines. Same goes for some of my directory pages. That being said, before I start a huge site promotion, I’d like to receive more feedback.

Before I start, I am have re-designed the site. However, during the time I been working on other prospects, including some scripting.

Now onto the website 🙂

What I would like to add is add the following features:

1. Score Board—> would include scores to MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL and so on.

2. Polls ——-> Asking different questions regarding sports such as your favorite baseball card.

3. Athlete of the week—> would like to have an athlete of the week for each sport.

4. Tools section—-> Will consist of future sports tools for webmasters.

My question is how should I break this site down?

Should I keep the navigation as is but add to it?
Example: Sports Articles/ Sports Directory/ Sports Forums/ Scores/Polls/Tools.

Or should I break the site into sports?
Example: create a baseball page that would list
sports news and facts. On this page would be links named as the following?

1. Baseball Directory–> links to baseball related websites.

2. Baseball Articles

3. Baseball Scores

4. Baseball Tools

and etc? Or would that be like spam?

Currently I don’t believe my site spams. Do you agree? Any suggestions?

All your input is greatly appreciated.

Without going into the usually rehashed details and sales pitches–ad nausem–what’s the best way to…?

Question by : Without going into the usually rehashed details and sales pitches–ad nausem–what’s the best way to…?
attract traffic to any number of your own sites?

Repetiveness? Steady spelunking of pork rinds? Gradual self-promotion over the course of the next 20 years?

What?

I know that cyberspace is overloaded with dead sites, and sh*t which would make most people go, “Huh”? and: “Say what…?” and there’s just too much garbage going on about search engines this, and adding your sites to such, and yadda, yadda, yadda…

But what I’ve found is that “buying” space to advertise doesn’t work as well as it should, and quite frankly, finding all those sites which claim “free” is basically a rip off.

So…

Anything creative you could throw in my direction which I hadn’t thought of. It’s not a matter of priority or urgency here. I had just been thinking about this for the last 2 hours now while perusing the message boards on Answers, answering questions and stuff, so I’d thought I’d throw this out and see what people would say.

Answer by lookforadam
Not much, apparently 😉 Must have been too long a question for the standard answers user.

You were closest with your third guess – gradual (and consistent) self promotion including two main elements: adding decent content to your sites, and getting links to your sites.

The first element helps with your search engine ranking (yadda yadda) and keeps people coming back and talking about how great your site is to other people.

The second element helps with your search engine ranking (yadda yadda) and keeps new people discovering your site from wherever you are getting links.

What do you think? Answer below!

Who has more experience any major in California or Sarah Palin governor of 700,000 for 1 year?

Question by Simplythebest: Who has more experience any major in California or Sarah Palin governor of 700,000 for 1 year?
Almost all the majors of California has governed more people, dont tell me Alaska is a huge state, she governs the fish and polar bears to?Her experience is no different then the 10,000 majors who have more people to govern..
Obama has 10,000 bills as state senator
and Obama: (some, not all)
Senate Accomplishments:
Since entering the U.S. Senate in January 2005, Senator Obama has written approximately 890 bills and co-sponsored an additional 1096.
Senators Obama and McCain have been running to be the nominee for President for their parties since January 2007. Therefore the 890 bills written by Senator Obama and the 1096 he co-sponsored all occurred in a 2-year span. That shows that he is a prolific and tireless Senator.
Because of the long-drawn-out nature of passing laws in the Senate many of his bills are still in committee and some were vetoed by republicans. Senator Obama has an impressive record by anyone’s standard.
For someone who supposedly has no record (according to his competitors) his record of accomplishments are extraordinarily impressive and inspiring.
¡ Democratic Republic of the Congo Relief, Security, and Democracy Promotion Act.(This is the first federal legislation to be enacted with Obama as its primary sponsor) Became law
· Secure Fence Act. Authorized construction of fencing and other security improvements along the United States–Mexico border
Became law
· The Lugar–Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act. The Bill expanded the Nunn–Lugar cooperative threat reduction concept to conventional weapons, including shoulder-fired missiles and anti-personnel mines Became Law
· The “Coburn–Obama Transparency Act” eliminated gifts of travel on corporate jets by lobbyists to members of Congress and the establishment of USAspending.gov , a web search engine launched in December 2007 and run by the Office of Management and Budget to require lobbyists to disclose the candidates, leadership PACS or political parties for whom they collect or arrange contribution and the combined amount of the contributions Became law
· Amendment to the State Children’s Health Insurance Program providing one year of job protection for family members caring for soldiers with combat-related injuries Passed in Senate
¡ Energy Policy Act of 2005 to add $ 200 million for Function 270 (Energy) for the demonstration and monitoring of carbon capture and sequestration technology by the Department of Energy Passed in Senate
¡ The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (after amendments became the Secure Fence Act which became law) Passed in Senate
¡ Education Bill. Require that the Director of Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Education to establish a program to recruit and provide mentors for women and underrepresented minorities who are interested in careers in mathematics, science and engineering. Passed in Senate
¡ Summer Term Education Program. Supports summer learning opportunities for low-income students in the early grades to lessen summer learning losses that contribute to the achievement gaps separating low-income students from their middle-class peers Passed in Senate
¡ Iraq War De-Escalation Act of 2007 a bill to cap troop levels in Iraq, begin phased redeployment, and remove all combat brigades from Iraq before April 2008. Republicans voted against
· Iran Sanctions Enabling Act supporting divestment of state pension funds from Iran’s oil and gas industry Republicans voted against
¡ Sponsored an amendment to the Defense Authorization Act adding safeguards for personality disorder military discharges, and calling for an official review following reports that the procedure had been used inappropriately to reduce government costs Republicans voted against

Does my plan fit along with the topic, Web by Design, Incorporation?

Question by Ladydi: Does my plan fit along with the topic, Web by Design, Incorporation?
I’ve planned to get it revised.
Starting from a continuation through the end of my project.

GOODS OR SERVICES AND PRODUCTION PROCESS
My proposed services have advantages over those affected by my competitors because it may expand professional Web sites, principles, and economic version. I believe my company will have benefits of selling and buying products online, or anywhere else. My company is a service company.
A. The service will be provided by the interests of consumers and management. I would have about a few people with special and strong sense of business needs and experiences. Sara Harte (Female)

Interests: career opportunities, getting back in touch

COO at SD Angel Productions (Female)
27 years old
Interests: motorcycles, MMA fighting, Football, gymnastics, capoiera, trying new foods and restaurants, traveling, writing, dancing, and walking down the runway in fashion
shows.

Students at Bedford High School
Grade levels: 9-12

B. Customers’ needs: card purchase, shopping cart online, templates, multimedia, bookmarks
Customers’ wants: part design, templates, professional service

C. Pricing:
Templates: $ 300
Site Maintenance: 5 hours(60$ per hour)
Standard: $ 35 per month
The reason I have chosen those pricing options is because I am willing to make anything cheaper in case of incoming increasing prices during hours. My competitors’ pricing strategy is a little expensive from housing and building items.

D. Distribution: I will sell to customers directly over the Internet. The suppliers, who manage to sell the products online may turn them in to me and I would give the cash back to the sellers. Additionally, I would use a credit or debit card to buy back products. I wish I had my own warehouse, but I will not.
