The fact that I’m about to step out and once again share very personal details of my life with the SEO community shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. After all, we’ve all talked or written about my chest and many folks have read the intimate details of my life on my hobby site.
So when Donna approached me to ask if I’d be willing to take part in the SEM version of The Biggest Loser and I heard about the chance to raise more money and awareness for HMBANA milk banking, it wasn’t even a question. (Ok, so there was a slight question about the time it would take to do even more blogging, but I think I can hack it.)
So here’s the deal. I weigh ...Continue reading
If you’ve ever read the nutrition information on a package of cookies, calculated the total number of calories if you were to eat the whole bag then said to yourself, “That’s not sooooo bad,” before you threw the empty wrapper in the trash, we’re going to get along just fine.
The problem with food is that it’s there… in my fridge… about 5 feet from my desk. The other problem is that in order to not feel like a shut-in, I like to go “out” for lunch and reconnect with the world… over an inexpensive and expansive mexican lunch. This pattern + 6 years of working from home has not been kind to my physique!
So, what am I doing? I’m going to use the Gold’s membership I’ve ...Continue reading
On Friday, February 1st I will begin shedding pounds like cats shed hair in the summer (or at our house, all year round).

I know. I know. It’s old school. But I tried the fewer calorie thing last summer and lost 8 pounds. And only when I started eating more calories did I gain it all back. So, I’m thinking there’s got to be something to this less calories thing.
The good news is that I can eat what I really want and not pay Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers a dime for their versions of real food. I just eat one slice of NY style pizza instead ...Continue reading
Dang….does this mean I have to step on a scale now? I only look at a scale about 2 times a year at the doctors…and it never seems to move down, only keeps getting higher.
Loosing weight is something that I know I’ve been needing to do….but frankly, things that don’t have to do with SEO or getting links, tend to get put on the back burner (yes, my excuse).
But now….now I’ve got no excuses with this competition.
I’m going all natural for this. No drugs, no super techniques, no link buying…opps, wrong topic….I’m just going to use the ELF (Eat Less Food) Diet, mixed in with getting more exercise.
I’ll also throw something into the pot. We’ll put all the name of the sponsors in a hat (even those at the $20 level), and ...Continue reading
