Maintaining
Well, I’ve been slacking more than a bit on posting here. However, I’ve actually been doing decent in at least keeping the weight off. I am still down 10lbs from when we started the challenge and have been getting full while eating smaller portions which is a good thing. I still haven’t done much excercise, however, I am going to be playing church league softball in a couple of weeks and that should help get my lazy butt moving.
So far the only weight loss tips I have would be to drink a lot of water every day (I drink about a gallon per day, the correct amount depends on your body size) and to eat slower. Apparently it takes a while for your stomach to relay to your brain that it’s full even after it actually is. So those of us that eat quickly will continue to eat even after we’ve eaten enough because we haven’t gotten the signal from our stomach yet.
Anyway, I wanted to drop in and update and also thank Donna for putting this all together. While I didn’t drop as much weight as I had hoped, it really has started me on the pathway to healthier eating and living.
